Divine Reverse Engineering: Understanding God’s Plan vs Your Plan

When we pray to God, sometimes He answers with a “yes” — not because the thing is good for us, but because He wants us to live and learn for ourselves.

You say, “Lord, I want this job, this partner, this business, this car.” And God, in His divine patience, replies, “Okay. Let’s see what you do with it.” Then you get it — and suddenly the thing you wanted comes with Wi-Fi-connected problems and subscription-based peace.

This is what I call Divine Reverse Engineering: God lets you enjoy the situation you prefer, but the real test is whether your situation aligns with His plan for your life.

Your Plan vs. God’s Plan (Spiritual GPS)

Life isn’t about fighting God’s purpose — it’s about syncing your spiritual GPS with Heaven. You can go left, U-turn, accelerate, or even build a house on the wrong street. But sooner or later, if you don’t reroute yourself, God redirects your life.

When He gives you wealth, it’s not to flex — it’s to reflect His goodness. When He gives you a platform, it’s not for vanity — it’s to show His favor. This is spiritual realignment: your desires maturing into God’s desires.

When God Alters the Script (Divine Redirection)

Sometimes God doesn’t let you have your way — not because He’s harsh, but because He’s protecting you. He’ll shake your comfort zone, block a deal, or delay a dream until your heart aligns with His purpose. That’s not rejection — it’s divine redirection, guiding you toward God’s plan for your life.

Remember Jonah? He bought a ticket to Tarshish when he was supposed to be in Nineveh.
God didn’t cancel the mission — He changed the transport: from boat… to fish.

Sometimes your detour is divine transportation — uncomfortable, slimy, but designed to make you think straight.

The Secret to Favor

Favor isn’t getting everything you want. It’s becoming the kind of person who can handle everything God gives. It’s doing what’s required to receive what’s desired —and then using it to serve what’s divine.

Yes — God sometimes puts you in your situation to lead you into His situation. The question is: Will you use your blessings to glorify Him… or yourself? Because when you choose alignment over ego, your desired situation tends to flow smoothly.

Final Thought

If life feels confusing, maybe you’re in a realignment phase — where Heaven quietly rewrites your script.

You wanted comfort — He’s building character.
You wanted control — He’s teaching surrender.
You wanted riches — He’s offering responsibility.

And through it all, God whispers: Be still. It is well.”
